CamCam has Bronchitis poor little bunny. She is now taking all kinds of medicine and using a nebulizer.  Let me tell you the nebulizer really helps at night.  Wow what a difference it makes. 

So our plans for Thanksgiving are quite simple EAT.. EAT... EAT... and then on the weekend we get to watch the bedlam game.. Gooo POKES  beat OU!

Another Day

I have a theory. 

My theory is that CamCam would sleep thru the night in her own bed if when she woke up during the night her dad didn't have the light on in the living room and the TV going full blast.  Why do I have this theory. Well let me tell you. Last night the hubs was out of town, so it was just my girl and myself. After I got her down I turned off the lights

in the house and turned off the TV. And went to sleep. Not once last 

night did CamCam wake up.

I have noticed that when the hubs goes to sleep early instead of staying 

up til 3 or 4am that CamCam sleeps all night in her own bed.  Now this 

is just my own theory and now that I have voiced this 

theory it will be proven wrong.

 Oh well its almost Friday and that is something to celebrate!

Veterans' Day

On today the day of Veterans' Day. I would like to thank all those who served our country.  I would also like to tell my brother how proud I am of him he is the bravest person I know. 

Frozen Weekend

This weekend was way to cold. CamCam and I got to go to the end of a soccer tourney that Star was playing in. And Man Oh Man was it cold.  But he did good and took second place.  CamCam is now telling everyone that she is playing soccer, to her dads delight and my eye roll. Oh the joys of the future plans of a 2yr old. 

Trick or Treat

CamCam had a awesome time with Halloween. She was the sweetest most cutest butterfly I have ever seen. So we started treating and she would only take one little piece of candy from people and they would just smile grab a hand full and put it in her pumpkin. My girl she is a sweet girl.  After about 3 or 4 houses she would proudly exclaim Momma I tot tandies.  

I can't wait until next year when she gets really excited about Halloween.  

On Saturday we had a birthday party for Star he turned 10 and it was at a local fitness zone place, the kids loved it. Wow who would have thought that it would have been that fun to watch the kids have so much fun. Cam Cam proudly showed Trissy( Our Pregnant friend/neighbor) how good she was at ever thing. She is so cute.   

Halloween Eve

So its Halloween Eve and I am excited. Last night I took CamCam to a carnival and she loved it. She has to proudly walk to all of our neighbors house in her butterfly costume to show everyone. Then she would finally agree to get into the car and go to the carnival. She only lasted 45 minutes at the carnival and then she wanted to take her free hot dog and run. Oh that girl of mine. 

Cursin G-ma

We are not big in to the using of curse words in front of the kids. Since my folks don't have kids because my brother and myself are grown and out of the house, my mom can curse like a sailor. I actually think that she might make the sailor blush a little. When we were down there last I started charging her a dollar for every curse word she said. This would not be sucha big deal except for the fact that the hubs and I don't want CamCam to start cursing. Not an ideal situation. So Thanksgiving is a month away I wonder if my mom is saving her money. I think when we left it was over a hundred. Wow... 

Rage

Is this thing on? 

Yesterday I went to the gym like every other day for the last 4 weeks. (That is how long I have had a gym membership. Go Me)

And I was in my normal Aerobics class with the instructor that I am not fond of, since I can't seem to get her moves. So it was time to do lunges to which we all line up against the wall and lung to the other side. I over heard a fellow aerobics gal state that I sucked at this. So I wanted to have a throw down right there in the middle of class. Right after I got done crying at least.  I really hate people like that! Come on now we are all here to accomplish a goal. Mine however may not be the same as yours. 

I mean seriously now! 

Ahh the weekend

It's Friday.. Whooo hooo! Yippie!!

I must say that this week seems to have dragged on forever.  CamCam had her first Parent teacher conference this week. Mind you she is only 2. Her teacher said that she is the bestest(is that a word) kid that they have in class. Keep in mind she might have told this to every parent she met with.  I choose to believe that she just said this to me because my girl CamCam is the bestest kid in class. CamCam can identify her colors and shapes and finish singing songs and even identify the difference in Capital letter and non capital. She is sucha SMARTIE !!!! 

So far this weekend is looking up. Last weekend we were battling a tummy bug and it was no fun. Knock on wood that this weekend is better. We plan on hanging out with our neighbors the Murners and watching OSU beat Texas.   Go Pokes! Oh and eating Trent's world famous Chili. Yummy.  I think we might take CamCam to a carnival that her daycare is having tonight.

Update

So CamCam has been talking much better now that she can hear. She is getting better at bossing the world around. Last night she decided that she needed to eat goldfish before bedtime. And ever so nicely said that she wanted goldfish please, and went into the pantry and got them.

She has started telling everyone that she has a sister and that her sister's name is Mine. I was asked by the daycare teacher if I was preggers to which I exclaimed AhNo!Why? CamCam is telling everyone about her "sister" and that it is in her belly.  I think we need to quit telling her that Trissy (our neighbor/friend) has a baby in her tummy. 

Hero

So I had a dream last night it was kinda strange yet kinda comfy. I can't really remember much about it except that my little brother kept getting me in trouble for stuff. Go figure. 

So my brother is 3 years younger than me and he is my hero.  Which is weird to most people but hey whateva. My little brother is proudly serving in the US ARMY and is getting ready to be deployed for the second time. He does is the bravest person I know.  

Many times when we were kids I would try to give him away to many people that I knew since he would drive me crazy. That has since changed he is my only brother and he understands  when I talk to him about the annoying stuff that people do. Or when I call and complain to him about things that make me mad. I am not sure when it happened but he has grown up and become a level headed, caring adult and he makes me really proud to call him my family. 

Oh and props off to his wife whom gets to put up with a new puppy and crazy cat along with him. 

He is my hero !

The great water crisis of 2008

Okay so the office is having the great water crisis of 2008 again. I am fond of the water since it tastes so yummy and non rusty. And it doesn't give a person indigestion. Man I hate that stuff. UGH!

So the office has bottle water cooler system thingie and everyone is grumping that its out. Well my casual observations have been that there are several people that see the need to fill up ice cube trays and rinse out there cups and bowls with it. So that will make less water to drink. Problem. Solution would be to get more water. It would cost $3.50 to take 2 empty jugs to Food Pyramid and refill them. That is cheap! So why are we grumping.  

All Done

CamCam had her surgery on Monday and she did super well. I am really happy that she did so well. The only thing that I did not like was the really nice nurse telling us that her son had to have 5 sets of tubes. WHAT!!!! Come on now you don't tell people that. 

Today she is running circles around her poor dad, since he is her sitter this week. Poor Poor him. he heeee... Next week she will be back to daycare to run circles around her teachers. Gotta love it!

Needs

I need a vacation. 

AGH...

Will it not stop. CamCam is so post have her surgery Monday and she has another ear infection. So I am waiting for the flipping doctors office to call back to see what they want to do. Medication then continue with the surgery as planned or cancel and reschedule.

Yesterday

So yesterday was CamCam's pre-op for her surgery on Monday. We went to the hospital and did our thing. While we were waiting in the lobby to meet the nurse-chick, CamCam found balloons in my purse or "my pacbac" as CamCam calls it. (to much Dora) 

She wanted the balloon to be "BIG Momma". To which she refused to try to blow it up, so I did and gave it to her and it deflated. To which she exclaimed "OH MAN!" so she gave the balloon back to me to blow up again. This happened several times and every time she would exclaim "OH MAN!" it was the cutest thing I had heard all day. 

So we were in the nurses office and then she decided she needed to poop. which she proudly crawled into the corner of the room and let-r-rip. Oh my child how proud can her dad was at that moment.

This weekend she also exclaimed "Oh Goodness" when she was pouring the water out of her cup on to our neighbors patio. She is sucha cutie!

Rambles

Today is Friday... Yippie Skippie..... 

CamCam now is really good at saying "Yo" and "Go Pokes" her daycare teachers are getting really creative in teaching her new things to say.  Oh and she also ever so politely points out Boobies now.  Which cracks her dad up. 

She is such a a little punkin last night she watch Dora and they were talking about Pumkins and she needed to go outside into the garage and find her plastic pumkin. To which she proudly claimed to her dad and brother when they came in from Soccer Practice    PUNCN...  She is sucha little punkin.. 

Work

Do you know how you know when you need a vacation. Its when you make a big deal out of something that is unproven. Or is that when you need to retire?

Some days I just do not want to get out of bed. Or I could come to work 3 hours late. Whateva!

Mine! Not to be used by you!

For a while now we have been a one vechicle household. Which at times is a little bit of a pain in the dereir. So my folks felt our pain and "sold" us there truck that they no longer drive(costs to much to drive due to gas.) So long-o story to short we drove the 3 hours down to there house  and back to pick up this truck for my hubs to drive. We now have this beast and does he drive it. Nope. Instead he takes my ride and leaves me with the beast with no carseat for CamCam. What the H-E double hockey sticks is up with that crap. So I addressed this issue last night. His response was that the beast was for taking Star to school and that when I didn't need my ride he was going to drive it instead of the beast. To which I told him that it was mine and it was not to be used by him. He laughed at me can you believe it. I was serious! So serious that traffic outside stopped when I proclaimed this a law and that it was to be observed by the hubs. 

Second Set

Well we got news yesterday from the Special Doc that CamCam has to have a second set of tubes in her ears and her adenoids taken out. Her big day for this even it Sept 29th. I know that her first surgery for the tubes went well and she was up and running the very same day. But I still worry. 

Scene of the crime

This is the scene of the crime or not so crime. 

CamCam has decided that maybe she likes to be a big girl by using the potty chair. Yippie.... I am super excited about this. In my mind I see more money someday by not buying diapers. Man those thingies are expensive. 

I loved that she was so excited that when it was time to go potty that she got right down to business.  

Just got off the phone with Re and he found out the times of the Soccer Tourney for Saturday. Lets just say that I will not be going. I would have get up at 430am and get Cam Cam ready and all of her stuff in the car and ready. Oh and be out in the heat all day with her. Don't get me wrong I love to watch Star play ball and all, I just don't think that Cam Cam will tolerate the heat and I would be ready to pull my hair out.
On a positive note its almost FRIDAY!
